I am a first generation Asian-American with a very strong passion for helping others and enjoy being a catalyst for change and healing. I possess an innate desire to provide assistance, support, and guidance to others. My therapeutic process is to provide the opportunity and space for people to heal and find hope despite hardships.
I have provided therapeutic services to adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I have experience working with Trauma, Grief/Loss, Anxiety, Depression, and Substance Abuse. Her background includes working with domestic violence, victims of homicide, victims of crime, substance use and co-occurring disorders. I have worked in community-based, outpatient, and residential/ in-patient settings.
The best part of being a therapist for me, is being able to be a part of someone’s journey; empowering them to develop, heal, and grow. My overall approach is client-centered, trauma-informed, and strengths based. Other modalities she uses are the Inner Child model, CBT, DBT, Narrative therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Holistic Psychotherapy, and Family Systems Therapy. I enjoy being able to recognize strengths in others, and feels fulfilled when I can help them see it within themselves. I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to learn at their own individual pace and to let acceptance and safety direct their learning and healing.
