Hello, my name is Meghan Bray and I am a Dietetic Intern here at LGTC Group’s Eating Disorder Program.
Throughout my own battle with anorexia and bulimia, I developed a deep appreciation for the importance of a safe and supportive community while dealing with such an isolating illness. Regaining control over my mind and healing my body was an uphill struggle, and likely one I would have been unable to make without the support of professionally trained, humanely caring medical professionals. It was in working with these healthcare professionals that I developed a zealousness for understanding these seemingly enigmatic conditions and a strong desire to use my knowledge and personal experiences to help others. This is what ultimately motivated me to receive my Bachelors of Nutrition and Dietetics from Loma Linda University.
By utilizing frameworks such as HAES, intuitive eating, and family-based therapy, I work to turn client’s fear into courage, anxieties into hope, and ailment into genuine wellbeing.
