I received her Masters of Social Work at the University of Denver in 2002.I have extensive experience working with diverse individuals on varied diagnoses and in varied settings. I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults in settings including school-based therapy, intensive home-based services with at-risk youth, residential and acute hospitalization programs, and general outpatient services. I have helped clients with varied diagnoses including behavioral, mood, and personality disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, and with the effects of neglect and emotional, physical, and sexual abuse.
I specialize in cognitive-behavioral therapy, as I believe that changing the way one thinks about the world and about oneself can have a profound impact on one’s life. I have also been trained in and uses Psychodynamic Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy.
When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my family, I love to read and bake.
