I am a bilingual (Mandarin and English) and bi-cultural psychotherapist, registered in the state of California. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, gained my master’s degree in Washington University in St. Louis. I am trained in EMDR, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, TF-CBT, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and informed by the Internal Family Systems model. My role with clients is both intellectual and relational, fostering both insights and empathic connection.
I have been providing psychotherapy for youth and adults since 2014, with a special interest in supporting people who are struggling or feeling stuck due to difficult relationships with food and their body, and co-occuring issues such as depression, OCD, anxiety, low self-esteem, family dynamics, adverse childhood experience, ect.
Having struggled with bulimia for a year during high school, and wish I could have had more access to knowledge and resources to help the younger me. I wish that my current knowledge and skills could help those who are still in the darkness to have more mental space and compassion for themselves to achieve their best potentials.
