I graduated from the University of San Francisco in 2014 with a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. After graduate school, during my associate years, I worked in various settings such as: outpatient, residential, school-based, and community based. I received excellent training in trauma, family systems, cultural competency, eating disorders, multigenerational trauma, depression and anxiety to name a few. I enjoy working with adults via telehealth and enjoy supporting my clients with anxiety, depression, body dysmorphia, eating disorder(s), cultural issues, multigenerational trauma, and life transitions. My approach is multifaceted as I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) in my sessions. I am a client centered and humanistic therapist, which means I encourage my clients to determine the direction of therapy and really focus on the aspect of choices and autonomy. I am quite sarcastic and humorous, and I love to bring this into my sessions.
