As a Registered Dietitian it is my passion to help people heal their relationship with food and their body. I’ve learned through my experience working in the ED population that food counseling does not come without body image work and I integrate the two pieces in my sessions with clients.
I have always been passionate about learning and helping others. I studied public health in undergrad at Tulane University where my passion for food education sparked while working in Edible Schoolyard classrooms. The program encompassed a gardening and kitchen components for K-8 kids.
Later, I decided to study nutrition interventions at Tufts University where I earned my Master’s in nutrition Interventions and behavior change. However, throughout my education, I struggled with my own disordered eating habits and nourishing myself adequately. I was utterly overwhelmed my diet culture.
Now on the other side, I love helping clients walk through their journey to find food freedom and have made it my life’s work. I am very excited to be a part of Los Gatos Therapy Center’s ED program and continue helping others re-discover the joy in eating, trusting their bodies, and leading full, meaningful lives beyond eating disorder treatment.
