Hello I’m Chloe Morrill, a registered dietitian nutritionist who specializes in the treatment of eating disorders. I am a bay area native and completed both my bachelors of science in dietetics and clinical focused dietetic internship at San Francisco State University. After learning many different practices within the dietetics field, I knew that nutrition counseling was the path I wanted to follow. My interest in eating disorders started when I was a teenager competing in beauty pageants. This experience opened my eyes to how ruthless eating disorders can be, as I watched many of my friends go through unimaginable things just to meet society’s ideal of beauty standards. I felt that it was my personal calling to help as many people as possible heal their relationship with food and their bodies.
I started my journey by working at a residential eating disorder treatment center. During these years, I learned many practices outside of using food as medicine, such as: all foods fit, rejecting diet culture, health at every size, and intuitive eating. My priority in working with clients is to individualize care based on each persons specific needs and prominent goals. I also use nutrition education and current scientific research to help clients regain trust with their bodies during the re-nourishment process. Although the path to recovery is non-linear and bumpy, I take pride in my role of providing endless hope, support, and empowerment to those who need it.
